Pamela Foxx, Manager of College & Professional Development
A graduate of High Point University with a B.A. in human relations and concentration in social work, Pamela Foxx has demonstrated unparalleled commitment to service throughout her adult life.
After graduation in 2003, Pamela attended Gardner-Webb University's M. Christopher White Divinity School, where she worked as a graduate assistant to the counseling office and resident director for the Residence Life Office. She also taught Bible studies and became an advocate for the Kidney Association.
In the summer of 2005, Pamela became a employee of High Point University in the Office of Student Affairs and Volunteer Center, where she connected students and staff to nonprofit agencies in the area and organized her own volunteer programs. After her tenure at High Poin, Pamela worked for the 21st Century Learning Center Program as director for Guilford County schools in North Carolina. In this position, she led efforts to improve elementary school students' standardized test scores.
While Pamela truly values her service and education work, her number one calling in life is being a minister, a role she has had for the past 16 years. She served as a children’s pastor for Memorial United Methodist Church in North Carolina for three years, and has preached and ministered to hundreds across the country in the last nine. She was recently installed as a minister at Second Baptist Church in Mount Holly, New Jersey.
